We’re proud that our experienced staff earns the trust of both our campers and their parents. Activities… and Everyone’s Included
No two campers are exactly alike. Some kids love sports; others love Arts and Crafts. Some kids love performing in front of other campers; others don’t like the spotlight.
We offer lots of different activities every day to engage every camper, encourage kids to try new experiences, and build on existing skills and talents. Happy Campers Long IslandA Safe Place for New Challenges

Kids at Camp Jacobson are ACTIVE!
Your child’s regular schedule balances our 5 core programmatic components:
- Sports
- Arts Enrichment
- Science & Nature
- Aquatics
- Adventure
In the case of extremely warm days, we move to what we call a “Hot Schedule” with extended swims and increased activities in our air-conditioned facilities. On rainy days, we move to our “rainy day schedule” with increased indoor programming, full camp entertainment and even surprise trips for our older campers. Every Friday is a theme day at camp, so schedules are often adjusted to accommodate our specialty programming for each day.
