One Israel Fund 25th Annual Gala

There comes a time when it becomes imperative to support our Jewish brethren living in Judea and Samaria, also known as Yesha and as the West Bank by its detractors.  These courageous and extraordinary Jews, numbering now over 450,000, are working and defending our biblical homeland.  They deserve the same requisite services such as healthcare and security that the rest of the country receives.  Unfortunately, many of these communities do not receive much support from major Jewish organizations.  Tel Aviv, yes, Yesha, maybe.  Unfortunately, there is an ideological divide among our people.  It is imperative for all Jews to learn our history, where it all began.

For over 25 years One Israel Fund has been supporting our people living in Judea and Samaria.  Governmental agencies fall woefully short in supplying security, social and medical services to the area.  This is where One Israel Fund comes in, providing these communities with the services they are lacking.  Over $65 million has already been spent on infrastructure and security.  There is still even a need to connect certain communities to the electric grid.

On Sunday, February 9th, we will have our chance to support this wonderful organization.  One Israel Fund will be celebrating its 25 years of support for our brethren in Judea and Samaria.  The 25th Anniversary Gala will be held at the trendy and exquisite event space at the TWA Hotel at Kennedy Airport.  The Guests of Honor will be Dr. Emma Laskin-Baum and Bart Baum.  They are being honored for their incredible devotion to One Israel Fund services.  The Boneh Yisrael Award will be presented to Amichai Lourie of Shiloh Winery.  The Keter Shem Tov Award will go to Rebeka and Gabriel Boxer.  The Dor L’Dor Award in memory of Gloria and Morris Grob, a’h, will be accepted by the Grob, Oppenheimer, and Pollack families.  The Yedid Yesha Award will go to the young women of SKA HALB High School for Girls.

Please come out for this very important fundraiser.  Reservations can be made at 516-239-9203, or on the website, ONEISRAELFUND.ORG.  Keep in mind.  Without Yesha, there is no Israel for the rest of us.
