A Special DINE & DISCOVER High Holiday event

EXPLORE THE DEEPER MEANING OF ROSH HASHANAH around the dinner table..

This year Congregation Ohab Zedek invites any Jew who is who is new or far from Judaism to experience the holiday in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Join us for a Rosh Hashana dinner filled with explanations about the holiday, Torah and the special fruits that are part of how we celebrate the holiday that we have at our meal.

OZ Members will also be in attendance giving you a chance to get “a taste” of the community. Perhaps you’ll want to become part of our community.

Kosher food will be served.

Holiday dinner at 8:30

$36 per person for dinner – a paid reservation is necessary to attend the dinner.

$54 suggested to support and attend this program – dinner plus all listed below.

10:00 Drop in Meeting -Intro to the Shofar learn why we blow the shofar and what the blasts signify

11:00 Hear the Rabbi’s speech in the main synagogue before the Shofar blasts

5:00 pm Drop in Meeting: Tashlich Explained – when we cast our sins into the Hudson River

6:00 pm Tashlich meets in Riverside Park in the 90’s
