Invitations by Michael Zac Design Group
Michael Zac Design Group — @ New York Jewish Guide.com
I am pleased to introduce a unique stationary company specializing in fine paper invitations and its owner Rachel Yohai whom I had a chance to speak with last week.
Here is what she had to say about the history of her company, their designs ,the current return back to basics in the stationery business and most importantly the great news about the Judaica category specilaizing in Jewish inspired invitation.
Michael Zac Design Group is inspired by fine paper, color and craftsmanship.
Dedicated to the event industry for over 15 years, Michael Zac Design Group is a high service, reliable, deadline-driven invitation business that offers letterpress, engraving, thermography and digital options.
Owner, Rachel Yohai, takes pride in establishing relationships with all her clients
so they come back for all the joyous occasions in their life.
Many people ask how the internet and paperless post has affected the invitation
business but Rachel is quick to point out that her invitations are not the kind that people
toss in the trash quickly. They are beautifully designed and crafted and guests
enjoy receiving them and look forward to the events because of them. People that
appreciate fine invitations and lasting memories they hold will not use paperless post
for an occasion such as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
And to that point, the big trend in the industry is a return to basics. Wedding invitations
on heavy classic white stock engraved with charcoal ink and a gold monogram are
very popular now…”it’s not about layers and ribbons…it’s all about texture and quality”
says Rachel Yohai.
